Researchers at the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University are developing a model that predicts whether specific COVID-19 restrictions have any effect. The system will be used as decision support for the public authorities when determining how much and how long to close down activities in society to avoid exponential virus growth.

How long will this lockdown last? Researchers from Aalborg University are working on a computer-based prediction tool to provide a qualified answer to that question. It will be developed in the system UPPAAL, developed at the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University and also used in intelligent traffic and heating control.
