The Grundfos Foundation has donated DKK 10 million to Aarhus International School’s Project One Campus. The project aims to redevelop and expand the school’s campus and thereby maintain its status as an attractive school for international parents weighing job options in East Jutland.

“We have long had a school with high-quality teaching, but the physical framework has simply been too small and too run-down. It is therefore a great pleasure to finally be able to realize the dream of One Campus. In the future, we can offer 600 students an academically and socially rewarding life on a modern and high-functioning campus,” says Niclas Kvernrød, Chairperson at Aarhus International School.

A strong international programme is crucial to the region at large, as well as the companies looking to attract global professionals with families. The Grundfos Foundation and several other large employers in East Jutland realise this opportunity and thereby support a strengthened international school for those potential employees.

"We have several employees who have children at the school. We know that when international candidates with a family consider a position with us, they first search for the international schools available in the region. The programme is very attractive and therefore, it is important to us that the school can offer its teaching in a contemporary setting."
