The Foundation supports Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)'s medical emergency efforts for the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
The Foundation has released DKK 1 million through our trust-based partnership with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) for the humanitarian crisis in Sudan where there is a severe shortage of medical care, basic necessities and clean drinking water after more than three years of war and internal conflict.

More than 13 million people are displaced in Sudan. The healthcare system has collapsed, and people are dying from diseases that are otherwise treatable. Thanks to this strong partnership, we are able to respond quickly and deliver agile medical emergency assistance where the needs are greatest.
“The lack of safe drinking water can have fatal consequences. That is why part of our emergency response focuses on installing and repairing water supply systems, as well as distributing water through flexible storage tanks.“
1,600 MSF colleagues work every day under extreme conditions to provide emergency surgery, treatment for malnutrition, maternity care, and basic healthcare services. However, the needs remain overwhelming. That’s why we’re happy to help secure access to medicine, medical care, and to continue efforts to provide clean drinking water to people caught in this tragic crisis.
