The year 2025 reminded us of how quickly things can change and how fragile the times are. In this reality, the Foundation has maintained its purpose: to contribute to lasting solutions that make a difference.

Philanthropic programmes
Within our philanthropic work, the year has been characterised by stable development and new initiatives. The Foundation distributed a total of DKK 343 million in 2025. The majority of the funds were distributed within the three main areas: Water & Development, Research & Innovation and Social Inclusion.
We have launched a series of charitable programmes that reflect our ambition to act where the need is greatest – and where we can create the greatest impact:
- Provide and scale water access for vulnerable populations
- Provide solutions to water challenges in big cities
- Secure the future of sustainable production industries
- Denmark as a global water technology hub
- Improving life trajectories through sports
- Advancing inclusive education and employment
The Foundation also supports emergency relief through a partnership model, local community engagement and several awards. The Foundation also marked its 50th anniversary with increased commitment on several fronts.
Income and investments
The Foundation’s two major revenue streams are dividends from shares in the Grundfos Group and returns on shares and bonds.
– As a majority shareholder of Grundfos, we have followed its development closely. We can confirm that, despite unstable markets, the Group manages to create growth, earnings and – not least – increase loyalty among customers worldwide while maintaining an impressively high level of employee motivation, says Kim Nøhr Skibsted.
In 2025, the Grundfos Foundation established a new company structure, transferring its securities to a wholly owned holding company. The Foundation also made the largest construction investment in Grundfos history. The future Grundfos headquarters will both be a beacon for sustainable construction and a symbol of our solid commitment to the local community.
