The Grundfos Foundation has made the largest construction investment in Grundfos’s history, amounting to a three-digit million sum, and the new headquarters will meet the highest sustainability standards.
Outdoor areas are designed to require no drinking water, with native plant species used. The building’s roofs will collect rainwater, which will go through a UV system and other treatments before being stored in rainwater tanks. This “recycled water” (grey water/rainwater) will be used for: Toilet flushing, external water taps, indoor plant irrigation, water features in the courtyard.

The building will feature 490 m² of solar panels, expected to generate 92,400 kWh annually. Construction includes 4,000 cubic metres of wood, with at least 90% certified wood documented as FSC- and PEFC-certified. As part of reforestation efforts, approximately 4,000 trees will be planted in the surrounding park.

The new global Grundfos headquarters is expected to be ready for use in third quarter 2027, and upon completion its six stories (including a basement) and 13,108 square meters will house roughly 660 Grundfos employees.
