After 51 years of service, Ingermarie Due Nielsen has decided to step down from the Foundation Board. The descendants of the founder have nominated Zia Due Jensen to replace her grandfather’s youngest sister.
Zia Due Jensen (24) is the daughter of Annette Hougaard Due Jensen and Poul Due Jensen, current Grundfos CEO. She is a law student at the University of Copenhagen.
“I am both humbled and proud to take a seat in the Board of the foundation that my great-grandfather created to protect and strengthen Grundfos. As majority owner of the Grundfos Group and one of Denmark’s largest corporate foundations, the Grundfos Foundation has a great responsibility and potential to contribute positively to our society with the strong values that both Grundfos and the Foundation are grounded in. I look forward to taking on that responsibility,” said Zia Due Jensen.
According to the charter, the Board of Directors consists of four descendants of the founder, four externally elected members and four Grundfos employee representatives.
