Strategy – Research
The Poul Due Jensen Foundation is committed to fund and support selected scientific initiatives, environments and individuals within natural science disciplines.

The Foundation supports selected research environments within natural and technical science in order to catalyse the development into or help maintain status as a recognised world class institute within their field of research.

Accelerating development of important scientific environments into world-class level will benefit the world through making new knowledge available to the public, but Grundfos and others will also be able to recruit candidates with the right skills to develop advanced and trendsetting technology solutions in the future.

Attractive funding packages
The Foundation will boost science and learning through tailor-made funding packages combined from the following possibilities:

– world class laboratories
– special basic research grants
– travelling and conference grants
– sending out or hosting visiting professors
– special professorships for talent development
– post docs or attractive scholarships for master and PhD students.

For the time being, we focus on selected centres and institutes within Danish universities.

Grundfos Prize for remarkable researchers
The Grundfos Prize promotes, acknowledges and supports national and international research in innovative and foresighted solutions useful to the community within the engineering and scientific area.

The annual Grundfos Prize ceremony celebrates a leading researcher within a field of interest to Grundfos and makes an excellent meeting ground where key university staff and students can connect with Grundfos R&D employees and managers.
