The Foundation Board has approved 18 new grants for Community Engagement projects where Grundfos employees volunteer for causes in partnership with local NGOs.
EUR 1.1 million are on their way to support local partnerships where Grundfos employees are volunteering to drive social and environmental change.
One noteworthy project is the Genuine Cup: From July 27 – August 1, more than 1,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities (IDD) and autism representing 50 teams from 50 countries will come together for a week of competition, connection, and community.
“Hosted at Rice Stadium in Houston, the Genuine Cup is more than a game. It’s a platform for visibility, opportunity, and inclusion on a global stage. Employees from Grundfos Americas HQ in Houston will help the tournament run smoothly by joining volunteer teams focused on preparation, logistics, tournament operations, events, or general team support.“
